Champions League- Man City, United, Real and PSG To Kick Start Action


The Champions league action is finally here. Starting tonight, Europe's top teams will be battling for Europe's most prestigious award, the Champions League Trophy

After the one-year long absence from Europe’s most prestigious footballing league, Man United will be back in the champions league action where they will be away at Philips Stadion playing PSV Eindhoven.



In his pre-match press conference, United Manager Louis Van Gaal confirmed that skipper Wayne Rooney will miss tonight’s action, but the striker is expected to come back to action on Sunday's Barclays Premier League clash at Southampton.


United's travelling squad: David De Gea, Sergio Romero; Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian, Paddy McNair, Marcos Rojo, Luke Shaw, Chris Smalling, Antonio Valencia; Michael Carrick, Ander Herrera, Andreas Pereira, Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Juan Mata, Ashley Young; Memphis Depay, Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial, James Wilson.

Also in action today will be Man City, who will be without Sergio Aguero. The Argentine striker suffered a knee injury during the club’s premier league victory over Crystal Palace this weekend. However, Raheem Sterling will be back in action after making a full recovery from a hamstring injury.
